General Laborer

As part of our labor team, you will work on a variety of construction and building tasks with each project:

Responsibilities
  • Clean up and organize materials on the jobsite and at our facility
  • Install concrete foundations
  • Place and finish concrete slab on grade
  • Operate smaller equipment/site work and power tools
  • Erect pre-engineered steel buildings
  • Erect wood stud framed buildings and structures
Requirements

  • Initiative to clean up jobsite and/or work truck when in-between work tasks or free time
  • Willingness to show up on and/or before start time on a consistent basis and have great attendance

Supervisor

The Supervisor is responsible for the day‑to‑day execution, coordination, and quality control of construction projects in the field. This role serves as the primary link between Project Managers, Foremen, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring that work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project documents and company standards.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily on‑site construction activities to ensure work is performed according to plans, specifications, and contract requirements
  • Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with the Project Manager and Foremen
  • Participate in job meetings
  • Conduct regular jobsite walk‑throughs and document progress with daily and weekly jobsite photos
  • Review construction documents and ensure crews and subcontractors are building per approved drawings and submittals
  • Enforce all company, owner, and regulatory safety requirements on the jobsite
  • Manage material deliveries, storage, and usage to prevent shortages or waste
  • Oversee equipment usage and ensure daily and monthly equipment checks are completed and documented
  • Ensure jobsites remain clean, organized, and properly maintained at all times
  • Review and verify employee timecards for accuracy and proper coding
  • Assist the Project Manager with change orders, submittals, and documentation as needed
  • Monitor job costs, productivity, and manpower to support project profitability
  • Maintain required jobsite paperwork, reports, and forms in a timely manner
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of construction means and methods

Maintenance Technician

This role supports field operations by ensuring all equipment is safe, reliable, and job‑ready while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate is versatile, safety‑focused, mechanically skilled, and takes pride in workmanship, equipment care, and supporting the field crews.

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on company trucks, trailers, and construction equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Service and maintain engines including gas, diesel, LP, and 2‑cycle mix
  • Inspect, repair, and maintain brake systems including air, hydraulic, electric, and mechanical
  • Maintain and repair concrete equipment and tools such as laser screeds, power trowels, vibra‑strikes, soft‑cut saws, and small hand/power tools
  • Maintain and repair equipment including but not limited to:
    Cat, John Deere, Bobcat, Skytrak, DynaPac, Wacker, JLG, Skyjack, and New Holland
  • Support a diverse fleet of Clouse Construction vehicles ranging from 1988–2025, including Ford, International, Mack, GMC, Dodge, Chevy, and Sterling
  • Perform welding, torching, and general fabrication as needed
  • Assist with custom repairs, modifications, brackets, and equipment improvements
  • Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to support repairs
  • Keep shop, yard, and work areas clean, organized, and safe
  • Follow all Clouse Construction safety policies and OSHA requirements
  • Identify unsafe equipment or conditions and take corrective action
  • Support equipment inspections and documentation requirements
Requirements
  • Truck, trailer, and construction equipment repair experience required
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Experience with welding, torching, and fabrication
  • Electrical knowledge (AC/DC required); plumbing experience a plus
  • Ability to read and understand electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Class A CDL preferred (or ability to obtain)
  • Versatile with a strong work ethic
  • Dependable, self‑motivated, and detail‑oriented
  • Team‑focused with pride in maintaining equipment and work areas

Estimator/Project Manager

This position works closely with many other professionals including suppliers, subcontractors, accountants, and operations personnel to provide the most accurate and comprehensive financial and budget analysis for their employer:

Responsibilities
  • Analyze requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project to be bid.
  • Determine what factors of the construction process will influence the cost of the project
  • Prepare material and labor cost estimates for the project
  • Develop and maintain relationships with company vendors and sub-contractors
  • Manage bids/contracts with vendors and sub-contractors including coordination with all
  • Present project proposal to customer management and sell the job
  • Establish project schedule for projects
  • Manage, with the Job Supervisor, the completion of the construction project for an on-time, under-budget, high-quality outcome.
Requirements
  • Good team player with a willingness to learn the “Clouse Way” and share your work experience with others
  • Previous experience as an Estimator/Construction Project Manager
  • Background with public jobs is a plus

Assistant Project Manager

This position supports the project management team by collaborating with vendors, contractors, accounting staff, and operations personnel to maintain accurate project documentation, track deliverables, and assist with project coordination and reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Our detail-oriented APM will support our Project Manager team and ensure projects run smoothly
  • Requires strong organizational skills and effective time management
  • Construction experience and Procore software knowledge preferred.
